At one time, 1950’s??, home team wore light/white uniforms and visiting team wore darker/ colored uniforms.

I like the G/W/G
But like busting out the white/purple/white(or gold) to mix it up a bit.
I also feel like I’m in the minority for liking the Gold jerseys we wore a little while back for the Gold Game.
I wouldn’t mind busting them out again, or maybe a different iteration since they weren’t exactly beloved.

I would think/hope they have a good throwback for 100 anniversary.
Would be cool if they used this helmet number/style when playing Ole Miss.

Militant "Old School" LSU Alum Semjase likes both the White and Purple jersey's equally, but only with the Canary Yellow helmets and pants.
CY-W-CY or CY-P-CY with the entire fricking team wearing White Shoes and White Socks.
Burn the god awful purple shoes, yellow shoes, black shoes and those Circus Clown purple leggings, which is all cheap and tawdry looking crap.

At home, we should wear white for SEC games and for top-10 non-conference games, and purple for other games (once or twice a year). Maybe throw in a game with the white helmets.
