Arizona was always a given. They had an assistant coach plead guilty and serve jail time as a result of the FBI/DOJ probe. I suspect they (and Miller) at least get hit with the same allegations...lack of institutional control...that Kansas got.

The question with respect to LSU and Wade is what additional information is there other than the wiretap recording we all heard (if any?) No doubt it sounds horrible for Wade and I'm sure he'll be asked to explain it (if he hasn't already), but is there anything else out there? The other schools who received NOA's (Louisville, South Carolina, NC State, etc) all had evidence of players receiving money/benefits (including specific amounts) from or funneled through agents/runners. To our knowledge, there has been no concrete evidence of any LSU players (under Wade) receiving money.

Wade does talk about a "damn strong offer" to (presumably) Smart. That very well may be enough to hit him/LSU with sanctions. But, without more, do those statements give rise to program crippling allegations? I guess we'll find out

Woodward and co will laugh this off just like the rest of CBB is doing. The NCAA doesnt have much at all, they have to be reactionary here because otherwise would look poor in not doing anything, but what actual evidence do they really have if no one is talking to them? Smart was cleared already and Naz Reid wont even give them the time of day.

If Duke doesn’t get one, rip it up

The NCAA can do whatever they want and if they feel what Wade said constitutes illegal benefits, they will run with it.

I don’t buy the working 24/7 garbage though. The NCAA only has the denials from Wade/Smart/Smart’s mom and the HBO tapes. What else could they possibly be reviewing/concocting?

Look what everyone else is doing, what does the NCAA really have here other than 3rd party info, most of which on us has been still nothing specific enough levy any major punishment if they cant prove any of it. In the end they need people to talk, and so far, it doesnt seem like anyone really has.

With the amount of involvement here, they arent going to destroy blue blood programs, eventually people would just say F the NCAA and break off if they really came down hard on everyone. I think we're in a much better spot than someone like Louisville who was already on basketball probation.

There doesnt seem to be much doubt around the program and recruiting is still on a very very high level, so it seems like if there was a lot of doubt someone would have heard of it and recruiting wouldnt be nearly like it is.

I have no clue what they have. But to act like they need a confession from smart or Reid just seems like wishful thinking

With nothing specific on it, it's not anything they can come down on the program hard for, again, they NEED people to talk, they cant just guess. The question is did anyone talk enough for us to get in trouble.
