You may hate he keeps doing it, but if you didn’t think this was coming, your head is buried far up your own arse.

Yep. Thats why last march was such frustrating bull shite. There were texts from Bill Self that were more damning than wade. Do I think we are 100% in line with NCAA regulations, no. Do I think we are doing anything outside of the norm in college basketball absolutely not and there was evidence to substantiate that. Yet somehow the media treated us differently and our administration went WAY beyond schools in the exact same situation which only furthered the problem.
I posted this in another thread.
Jay Bilas, Dick Vitale need to vilify cheating coaches instead of villainizing NCAA
Instead of villainizing the rule-makers; how about blaming the rule-breakers? Instead of lambasting the NCAA for some of its obviously archaic rules, why don’t Bilas and Vitale rip some of their buddies in the coaching profession for blatantly breaking some of the NCAA’s most basic rules? Like the one that says, um, YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO BUY PLAYERS!!!

It seems personal and he seems happy to have breaking news about... NOAs? He really showed himself with petino. Defending him but crying about Wade. If someone has evidence of money changing hands... I’ll change my tune. Until then I’m not worried.

Why are you giving this whore attention?

Because, like him or hate him, this is now a 2nd college basketball pundit with a “source” that says we will receive an NOA...which IMO is news-worthy

I think it is probably (and has been for a while) a foregone conclusion LSU is going to get a NOA. I also suspect there will be level 1 allegations levied against Wade. Then, the question will become what can the NCAA establish.
The link below provides pretty good synopsis of the alleged wrongdoing of schools who already have and are suspected to receive NOA's.

In sum: Kansas, Oklahoma St., USC, Auburn, Arizona, all had staff members who ultimately plead guilty to crimes in the FBI investigation. For NC State, the allegations stem from testimony provided at trial by TJ Grassanola, the Adidas consultant (who also pled guilty to crimes) who said HE gave a NC State assistant coach $40k to give to a player. Louisville's allegations stem from trial testimony of Brian Bowen's dad who said Dawkins told him Adidas would give Bowen $100k to go to UL. The Adidas rep essentially acknowledged at trial such an offer was made. There is also testimony from Bowen's dad that two UL assistant coaches gave him money. With respect to Creighton, the US prosecutors alleged a CU assistant accepted a $6k bribe from Dawkins and they showed video of the assistant putting the cash in his pocket.
LSU has the Wade wiretap and testimony of an Arizona assistant coach saying Wade told him he had a $300k deal in place for Naz Reid (something Reid has denied).
Wade is the only HC on tape talking about an offer HE made. Obviously he has a LOT of explaining to do about that statement. However, unlike the others there seems to be very little, if any, evidence of any actual payments to players. I would imagine Smart and Reid have denied receiving any benefits. So the question remains. Is there additional information out there that hasn't been reported? In a society that leaks EVERYTHING to the media, that seems unlikely.
Wade's personal statement is the most damning of any HC whose program is involved. But other than that, the other elements of the case against LSU appear to be the most specious of all the schools

Maybe all these sources LEAKING stuff should be investigated.

They can make accusations all they want but if no one talks there really isn't anything they can do.
