The point is that BK gets to decide what it means. I don’t really care what he wants out of it, I just want to see the best team we can field out there.

But this is the first thing he’s done since he’s been here that signals he’s out of touch with this fanbase. The ironic part is the “best player from Louisiana” stuff; he’s trying too hard.

I cant stop laughing reading this.

So if I get elected president, I get to decide what the Fourth of July means?? Do y’all even know what a tradition is?

Do you know what a tradition is? Because this one has only been around for about 10 years and has already changed multiple times.

No it didn’t. Beginning with PP7, #7 was for the player that was believed to be the biggest playmaker on the team. Some years, we nailed it. Some years, the #7 guy came up short of those expectations. As I’ve already so eloquently laid out, an OT can’t be the biggest playmaker on the team hence the diversion from the tradition!

Is tradition deciding Grant Delpit is the biggest playmaker out of Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, or Edwards-Helaire?

You really going to die on this hill? Jeez

No love for Ali Highsmith? He wore 7 and won a national championship.

I’m going to die on the “it’s absurd to give an offensive tackle the #7 to uphold a brand new made up tradition that is ridiculous because he literally cannot even wear the #7 so we’re gonna give him a patch instead” absolute nonsense from Brian Kelly

Or Johnathan Giles who only had 10 receptions for 59 yards for his career at LSU… he didn’t even make it the whole year as #7.

But as number #7 Giles only had 7 catches for 32 yards… and that’s with fricking Joe Burrow throwing the ball as QB.
