I believe he would stay in BR for life if LSU allowed him that opportunity, as DC

While they didn't hate it, the family wasn't enamored with living in BR the first time around. He'll wind up as a DC out on the west coast somewhere way before they come back to Louisiana

If you're going to predict the future, tell me what the winning Powerball numbers are going to be tonight. Thanks.

Kelly did just recently bring in a guy with strong LSU connections in Pete Jenkins and he brought back Frank from jump. His one big mistake was letting Corey get away.

Would love Aranda back as DC. The only potential downside is that it’s pretty well known that he’s not an elite recruiter. And we don’t seem to have one on staff right now.

Not sure CBK would want to hire someone with an LSU past.

He should hire the best guy he can hire, regardless of their connection to LSU or any other school

Believe he's from SoCal so I'd think he'd look at USC DC job where he could fix one of the worst defenses in college football.

Do not like that one bit.
His defense with Riley’s offense, USC would be scary good

The one thing about Dave is that he is not a recruiter. He doesn't seem to like it much and isn't elite at it, so you're relying on the assistants to really recruit D.

I think you need to find a good DC that also recruits, or try everything to bring back Corey

"His own guy" currently at DC sucks dick.

Worried about his next hire based on this one

Disagree. DB recruiting has been fine, Corey left that room completely fricked. Cain is the big loss.

Baylor is going to force Grimes out and make Aranda hire a better OC. They’re sick of Arandas bbq buddy

Agree here. I think Kelly lets House go "find an NFL job" and brings in his own guy.

Who are on the list of coaches that constitute Kelly's "own guys"?

Hell, did House have any real connection to him before getting this job?

Why does anything think he would want to come back to LSU?

But you are talking to people who think coaches should be fired after every single loss.

House will not be fired. I’m not sure he should be, either. We’ve suffered a lot of roster loss from an already depleted roster. He’s working with what he has but they have a lot to learn

They can't afford the buyout. OC probably and should be fired though.
