First, kind of weird for a supposed victim to be showing her nipples on a TikTok video about being raped.
Second, Title IX is not a judicial setting and does not have set rules for evidence or findings. They are known kangaroo courts. The player being found “guilty” in a Title IX proceeding literally means nothing from a legal standpoint. The only thing that can happen is expulsion from campus. The fact that police declined real charges is much more telling. Means there is no compelling evidence other than post coital regret.

The alleged incident occurred in 2025. Allegedly there was a two semester suspension. So that would entail at least missing Spring/Fall camp 2025, the 2025 season, or Spring/Fall camp this year.
No returning 2025 player who is still listed on the 2026 roster vanished from late-2025 games or Spring camp 2026 without an injury or transfer explanation being reported. Players who left the program (including Javien Toviano after his confirmed one-year Title IX suspension for sexual exploitation) transferred and are no longer on the 2026 roster.

If he raped her, he should be in prison. This sounds like LSU thinks something happened, but they can’t prove it so they tried to forge a middle path by hitting him with a two-year suspension. I don’t like these areas of grey.

Yeah .. this girl went to the hospital on the night of the alleged rape, was there for seven hours, went through LSU's title IX process, and posted the video because it is not legit and is just out for money. Rantards like you are insufferable.

Makes people think that if she lost in the hearing and posts this she’s trying to get press to get LSU to pay to make the bad press go away
Maybe she is trying to get justice. But given that she lost in a system that strongly favors the accused people get skeptical
To act like it is a sure thing she has 100% good intentions is just as prejudiced as saying that she’s lying for money.
It hurts the accused who at this current time has been absolved by the title 9 hearing

It depends on what the reason for the appeal and him winning it were. T9 isn’t a court of law when it comes to evidence and testimony. If it was just something procedural then that’s not really on LSU, especially if they cooperate with the DA.

While that doesn’t sound good at all out of context- do you know what the conviction rate is for he said-she said cases if there isn’t much obvious physical evidence? It’s very, very low. That may have been all they were getting at.
And it’s not like Shanklin has been given a pass internally. He was suspended and may now be off the team at a position where we could use depth.

Whenever a coach goes full no comment on ANY question about a player, even pretty mundane ones, it’s usually a dead giveaway that it’s a T9 issue.

I saw a second of the video and felt I was loosing brain cells. Did she ever press charges? Or did what I hear was correct. She declined charges for a 1k payout from him and the title 9 route for punishment of his actions? She was fine with that but seems when he won the appeal, she decided to bring the case to the DA as now he was back on campus? I could see that as being a reason for her to change stance but I’m not sure if I follow it correctly
