So if this was the case, this could explain why nothing was done. However, if she had the proof then, it's likely more would've come out at that time. Unless there was a coverup by campus police to protect the athlete. Which if that was the case, unless they can find strong evidence of this, it's a "he said, she said". It's the fact the athlete went to them first is the part that's interesting especially if she claims rape.

And i agree wholeheartedly:

Because I know of a girl who cried rape on two guys and almost ruined their lives because she got caught at school after hours having sex. She claimed they forced her there, but later found out she lied. She was also known to have a reputation at a very young age. Despite that, people initially believed her, but one guy was kicked out of school for it.

Honestly, it appears her intentions were to get more than 1k. A lot of this isn't adding up....and the more I read, whoever the athlete is, probably will be OK given the person already won an appeal.

Well this is a pretty big fricking deal. A guilty man isn’t telling on himself.

It appears on the surface from the parts we have access to that they had sex for sure, sounds like it was consensual and then she said it was rape after.

I can see paying some amount to make it go away even with it not being rape just because of the head ache being proven innocent could cause. Very similar to big companies being willing to settle lawsuits because they don’t want the hassle

I just watched a couple of her videos. In one she posts a portion of the letter she got with the result of the appeal. The appeal process result did not reverse their original finding of “responsible” for sexual assault. They upheld that doing g the appeal modified the consequences for him. Instead of a full suspension for a year he was basically placed on 4 semesters of probation, but allowed to join and participate in extracurricular activities during his probation.
