QB Stats Through First 3 Games at LSU
Joe Burrow
Passing: 36/78 (46%) — 540 YDS, 3 TD, 0 INT
Rushing: 22 CAR — 56 YDS, 1 TD
Jayden Daniels
Passing: 57/82 (69.5%) — 556 YDS, 6 TD, 0 INT
Rushing: 35 CAR — 225 YDS, 2 TD
Sam Leavitt
Passing: 57/93 (61.3%) — 732 YDS, 3 TD, 5 INT
Rushing: 40 CAR — 198 YDS, 6 TD
The biggest thing that jumps up at you is the INTs which is actually uncharacteristic of Sam because last year he played in seven games and only threw 3 INTs. In 2024, he played in all 13 games and threw a total of six INTs. Also, the batted balls must get cleaned up. They are killing the offense at times. But, I think he will settle in.

Look man, it wasn’t Leavitt’s fault most of the time. The dude was so scared of getting hit on every single play. Did he panic if his first read wasn’t there? Yes, but I also saw him drop an absolute dime to Watkins for a TD. I’m not ready to give up on him yet. Every single one of the problems he has is coachable. I still think he is our guy.

Have you ever heard of risk versus reward? It’s not worth the dang risk!!!!!! This federal suit is literally in Alabama!! There is a strong chance LSU will lose and face major consequences. I was all on board rostering these players until now. It’s not worth it!!!

The issue is now the federal lawsuit. If the emergency hearing goes past Friday and LSU loses while these players are rostered, the SEC will throw the book at LSU and Lane Kiffin. The case is going to be in Alabama. LSU will most likely not win. This is not worth it anymore. Just move on.

I’ve been saying something similar. I was in the Army so I compared it to a Soldier signing a contract to go SFAS. You sign a contract and get a bonus but all of that is contingent on you getting selected and passing the Q Course. If you don’t get selected or if you fail the Q Course you get kicked back to the regular Army and you can’t call yourself a Green Beret. Just because you sign a contingency based contract doesn’t make you apart of that organization. You being a part of that organization is contingent on you making it through training or being selected or both.

Let’s think about this for a second: if Brian Kelly made Jayden Daniels a promise that he wouldn’t issue his jersey number after the 2023 season, then why would he turn around the very next year and promise someone else No. 5?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed. They had Derrin Strey from Kentucky a 4 star but literally the same day he committed to LSU he dropped to a three star.

everyone will downplay Lane Kiffin’s impact and smugly insist Ole Miss was always fine without him. If Ole Miss loses, they’ll further crucify him for “abandoning” the program and “raiding” the staff while blaming the loss on him. The narrative is rigged no matter what happens. But I love being on the villain side of things.
