14-40 in SEC pay. Sports media predicted us to finish 15th out of 16 teams in conference play. After watching last night I think that prediction is spot on

LSU thanks to WW had essentially the death penalty. And stayed on probation pending penalties for two years. Last year was the first year without that shite. I agree 100% with the comments about the WW thing being unfair relative to the other schools involved. And we probably caved and sacrificed WW because of threats to football…. He had his wife write a personal check to a recruits girlfriend who threatened us. Pretty hard to overcome. Having said that. It has nothing to,do with MM or our current team

I think so. But LSU is going to have to win some games they are not supposed to and not lose badly to ensure an NCAA bid IMO.

LSU is actually the only SEC team to not make the tourney since 2022. They haven't even come close. Even Missouri and Vandy, both rock-bottom just two seasons ago, made the tourney in 2025 and Vandy is now the best team in the league.

The time is nigh--McMahon must geaux.

this is year 4 for MM When this be his team and quit blaming WW? This reminds of everyone making excuses for Kelly blaming Coach O in year 4

man, we haven't even played a single conference game yet and you're worried about the bubble.

Take a breath, and let's see how the conference games go. We can start talking about bubbles in late February.

Fixed it for you. The technical term for this is the tyrannical cowardice.

I was more talking about rankings in general, teams ranked in the low-mid 40’s are bubble teams.

If we're 2-12 in SEC play in late February, are we still on the bubble?

Very relevant.

NC State is 9-4 while we're 11-1 and they still have a much better NET ranking.

I don't want to hear the excuses. Just make the damn tourney or find a new job.

It is really staggering how poor McMahon is as a coach. I think we all know deep down how conference play is going to go. 14-40 SEC record so far and there are still people here who simp for this failure. I have to think they’re holdovers from Scott’s payroll.

Watching us play right now, we scream bubble team.

If you watch some of the top half SEC teams it's obvious we are playing a lesser game than them but we have good enough players to probably beat up on the shite teams in conference.

Just going to depend on if we can make some shots against the top 6/7 (crowd goes wild) teams in conference.

That's one way of putting "wanting him to succeed."

To be fair, this is still year 0 for McMahon. You have to remember, he had to bring in a whole new group of players this year, so it restarts his clock.

I honestly do not have an issue with this line of thinking. However, he needs to make the tournament if that is going to be the caveat IMO.

It’s not year 6 for McMahon. It just feels like it, lol.

I honestly have not seen much college hoops aside from LSU games, so I honestly can't say - for those who have and who have an idea of the relative talent we have this year, how would you rank us in a relative sense in the SEC overall talent-wise?

Would you say we have the 9th best collection of talent?

Will Wade was given $10 mil in NIL his first year at NCST. McMahon was given. $2.5 mil. You are an idiot.
