No. Trump has always been a deal maker. He wants the best deals. The assumption however was that he approached these deals (policy positions) with the American people as a priority. Instead he is making great deals for Big Tech and the DC lobbyists. They are winning, as they usually do. I’m sure Trump’s poll numbers are great in Washington DC. On Main Street America? Not so much.

Trump probably received the results of the McLaughlin Group flash poll on this interview and Trump has been dropping F bombs since 3 am on his advisors on this very unpopular position on H1B and telling them to now go clean up this mess.

At some point Trump/his supporters have to own things, instead of blaming Biden or others.
Based on Trump’s approval/disapproval numbers and the current sentiment on this board this appears to be happening. Per Rush Limbaugh the only person to divide the MAGA base from Trump is Trump himself. That happening at the moment. Is it correctable? Probably not.

I thought AI was supposed to take care of this IT labor shortage problem for Big Tech?

IDK if you are being sarcastic or not but Grok says 93% of public schools in 2025 use them.

With today’s connectivity why do Big Tech bros need H1B visas? The “workers” don’t need to be physically in the building. Just outsource those tasks.

Hate to say it but this is the beginning of the lame duck period for the Trump presidency. It began in earnest yesterday. Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away, then Christmas and the New Year and then it’s midterm season. The Dems will win congress easily and Trump and his cabinet will be facing impeachment from Temu Obama and congressional Democrats for the last two years.
All of this could have been avoided. But Trump sold out to the Big Tech Donors and the lobbyists. The 2015 version of Trump would have kicked the 2025 version of Trump right in the nuts by now. They don’t know each other.
Because JD and Rubio are in this Trump administration neither one probably gets nominated in ‘28. Trump selling out his base will be a bane to anyone in this administration’s future political careers. Ron DeSantis actually may come out looking the best after all is said and done given the fact that he’s not directly associated with this administration.
There is also the distinct possibility that Temu Obama and the Democrats will overplay their hands and force a quick pendulum swing back to the GOP.

Ramaswamy made the same fatal mistake last year. You would think by now politicians would have learned.

I had a new student in my Algebra II class. She was homeschooled previously, and this was her first experience in public school. Two days in, she’s already unerolling. I’m not surprised, given our last conversation.
Her words when I asked her what she thought: “I wanted to see what all the hype was and maybe go to prom, but this isn’t for me. Most of class is spent waiting for everyone to open their Chromebooks or figure out what to do after the teacher has literally said it 5 times. And, I can’t use the bathrooms because of all the vaping.”
I knew it wasn’t going to work when she brought back an entire unit packet (meant to be completed over 2 weeks) the next day. And no, she didn’t use AI. I asked her a few questions and she could explain the most difficult concepts verbally. She even offered her advice on how the sequencing of the packet could be improved.

How do wealthy people like Soros make money from these antiprop groups? Through their NGOs? What’s the scheme?

The violent riots at UC Berkeley last night are under full investigation by the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force. We will continue to spare no expense unmasking all who commit and orchestrate acts of political violence.
Under President Trump’s leadership, and pursuant to his Executive Order designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, the Department of Justice and our law-enforcement partners are dismantling violent networks that seek to intimidate Americans and suppress their free expression and First Amendment rights.

Trump is surrounded by bad advisors right now.
It's just one mistake after another.
Inviting al-Qaeda to the White House?
Floating 15-year car loans?
Floating 50-year mortgages?
Arranging discounts for fat-loss drugs?
