His senior year at LSU, playing hurt behind a god awful O Line, dropped him to the seventh round.

That's not why he dropped. He's not good. He plays losing football. He's tiny and has small hands. That is why he dropped.

Even though it was obvious he was dealing with a major injury.

The injury did not cause him to throw into double and triple coverage.

the injury derailed everything about what he was able to do and had a snowball effect.

Have people actually seen Nuss play these preseason games?

Aside from one play that Dan Casey likes, it's been a bunch of meh, and the stats back up the eye test

Brother, half this website wanted him cut from the team and called him a loser. Our fans are dumb as frick. It was clear to anyone who knew ball that he was dealing with an injury because of how he couldn’t push the ball deep like in the past.

And as you can see from the responses, a lot of those losers are still here saying the same thing lmao

Hope the guy .makes the roster. I wouldnt pay too much attention to the idiots on here. Half are trolls and a lot of it has to do with race for some. Nuss definitely has an NFL arm when healthy.

Garrett Nussmeier

Never seen a fanbase literally want someone to fail so badly. It tells you the character of a lot of these posters.

When you don't have to worry about a deep ball, and you also have no running game game or OL, it kinda does cause that

Nuss will try one of his "dude perfect" passes in a critical spot and throw a pick...

that will be that.

If he makes a roster, some of you will go into deep depression.

He was bad last year bc he was injured. Pretty simple

His junior year was bad in sec play. When Jordan Jefferson in 09 has better stats than you in sec play.....

There's plenty of NFL'ers who tear it up in the preseason and get cut, never to play again. It carries barely a smidge more cachè than NBA Summer League.

I don't think he's unplayable in the NFL, when healthy, but he makes some awful decisions and those get you cut from the league quickly.

He is 3rd on the list for all time passing yards behind Hodson and Burrow. Inspite of the putrid season he had his last year.

Because all we did was pass during his time at lsu. His yards per attempt in sec play in 2024 is .2 better than Jordan Jefferson in 09.

2024 lsu was 8th in pass play % in the country
2025 lsu was 15th in the country

Are you talking about when he threw for over 4,000 yards?

Avg 296/gm in SEC play

Jordan Jefferson avg 183/gm in SEC play in 2009

Where do you people come from

He quit on lsu last year after getting benched. He was fine to play before he got benched.
