Even though it was obvious he was dealing with a major injury. And now he looks great in the nfl preseason. Brian Kelly is simply a terrorist that should never be welcome in Louisiana again

Nuss showed flashes where he played really well, but he also played terrible at times and made awful decisions for someone who had been at LSU for years.

BK was old and checked out, but I certainly don't blame him for all of Nuss' issues. Jayden Daniels (though we mostly hate him right now) managed to improve astronomically between his junior year and senior year under BK and the staff. Last year it seemed to be a combo of Nuss' injuries, poor decision-making by him, shitty play calling and shitty play from every aspect of the offense that affected his season. He is what he is at this point though overall.

If he was hurt that bad why did Kelly allow him to play and hurt the team as a whole! Nick Saban would never allow that. Great coaches don’t allow that. It’s not about one person it’s about the team and LSU.

He was bad while playing at LSU. I wish him well and hope he succeeds in the NFL!

Stats aside, although there were some drops that skewed those stats, it's how he has performed that is the positive.

Its common knowledge, for those who follow the Chiefs, his OL is patchwork., Their best tackles are not playing Pre Season.

There is a good chance that before the season is over, for the first time in my memory, LSU could have three NFL starting QBs.

No! They will keep him on the Roster. If he is on the practice squad, some other team will claim him. They can't afford to let him go because their starter, Mahomes, is injured.

His o line was a huge problem last year. Could not step up into the pocket ever because our center or guards were getting blown up. That’s Why he was always backpedaling. He looked really good the other night stepping up in the pocket.

He was hurt, his oc was horrible, and that bad oc had one of the worst ol groups I've seen at lsu in 30 years of watching
not to mention the abomination of Brad Davis and horrible O line play.

He played bad last year. Whatever the cause, he played bad. NFL teams also thought he played bad, that is why he was drafted where he was drafted. Playing bad and being bad are not the same.
According to Nussmeier, he supposedly suffered from abdominal and oblique pain because of a cyst on his thoracic spine that was pressing on a nerve. Those rarely go away, especially if they are as chronic as he claimed it was. Add to that the upcoming extreme physical demands of a professional athlete and there is little doubt you are going to do something about it. To date, he has had no treatment, surgical or otherwise. I find that very odd.

Nuss is just slow. Call it what it is. Teams are looking for mobile QB's and he is not a mobile QB. You can't teach quickness.

Yeah, wait till his soft arse takes a couple hits from a blitzing LB. He’ll be throwing interceptions off his back foot again, lol

Well to be fair he only had a fifth year because he quit on his team and refused to play in the bowl game

Most of the team quit on that bowl game, over half skipped out. We'd fired the coach and an interim was there.

Are you really asking a guy to blow his redshirt and lose a year of eligibility and development for a meaningless bowl that was going to be a sure loss?
He signed with LSU, and stayed at LSU. Like him or not as a player, you have to take that into consideration.

Foot speed is not as important as mental speed.
The Chief "Talking Heads" have been marveling at Nuss' ability to read defenses and throw accurately, with different arm angles.

To be fair Nuss has always and still loves LSU.
If he had left early he would have been a 1st round draft choice.
His senior year at LSU, playing hurt behind a god awful O Line, dropped him to the seventh round.
Fortunately he recovered physically and according to the scouts, is playing like his Junior year ar LSU.

I said all along Nuss would be a better pro than he was at LSU.
