I thought coach Kelly said Rickie Collins was ahead of this kid. He was definitely a great ambassador for lsu his whole recruitment

Persuade Nuss to go pro and give the keys to Underwood on Day 1. Send Collins to Nicholls and let Hurley be the Backup as a RS Fr. I am sure he would transfer after that?

The same Nuss that is at the top of the SEC in nearly every good statistic?

He didn't have a great game in the second half against aTm. He is not Burrow, or Daniels, but nobody in all of college football has a QB who is.

Some of you really need to come back down to reality. I'm shocked that some posters can get through day to day stuff in life, with how idiotic some of these post are.

And then when we lose 3-5 games with a true freshman QB you will want the entire world fired.

I dont think there is any persuasion needed. He will be gone.

You have Sheduer (sp) ewers ward and Gabriel the only others going pro. Ewers hasnt looked great and Gabriel has been real up and down the last couple of years. Nuss could go top 3-5 QB's taken which is normally guaranteed first round. He is gone.

You can usually predict the kids who are recruited for depth vs the ones recruited to start. We have a few on our roster currently that we never planned to start but you can’t tell a kid that. They all think they are the best QB in the world.

I still don’t understand why Hurley wanted to leave high school at such a young age. Never made sense to me from a football standpoint.

Next season:

Nuss comes Back

Underwood enrolls true freshman
Hurley redshirt sophomore

Following year:

Hurley+Underwood battle for starting spot, Loser transfers

This is the ideal scenario. I also think Underwood will be the guy but with QBs, you never know. I realize that Underwood is a higher prospect but Walker Howard was a 5 star and look how he is doing. You just never really know so the more option the better. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and let the best man win.

Hurley is a good prospect and he is mobile. I think Nuss comes back and Hurley and Underwood battle for QB1 in 2026. Neither of them will beat out Nuss next year and you don’t want a FR starting in the SEC if you don’t have to.

Some of y’all need to get a grip. You think a true FR is going to come in and be able to make the reads pre snap when a 4 year system guy still screws it up? JD needed 4 years starting before he blew up last year.

Underwood starts day 1 is my assumption there is no one on campus like that dude. I am a huge Hurley fan and would love to see him suit up and play. Nuss should go pro he might not beat out Underwood. Underwood's ability to run sets him apart from anyone else we have.

do like Hurly, but I think Nuss returns, Underwood is his backup and gets some packages and then it’s Underwood for as long as he is here.

Are you expecting Nuss to grow like burrow and daniels?
