Hate to break it to you Baw, but we were riding before Coach O got that fire back in his belly this is Lane Kiffin’s team.

I’m glad O is feeling better and doing good but believe me the success LSU has had this year is because of Lane Kiffin

And that was a smart move by Kiffin but don't get it mixed up the success that LSU has going forward will be 100% because of Lane Kiffin and the hires he makes

Coach O is highly respected amongst players and coaches and suggesting him being on the sidelines doesn’t help bring anything is just silly.

Coach O is our National Treasure

Has any coach at a college ever hired the former national champion head coach and DC?

Not keeping them on but actually brining them back?

I am immensely enjoying LSU football again. The style & level of play with Kiffin is exciting and some of the best I've seen @ LSU in decades. And I am 110% absolutely confident/certain that this quality "product" will not only continue, but improve. And I'm willing to give Kiffin, his coaching staff and team the time they need, which is required + necessary, to be truly great.

So LSU Football is already a success for me. As long as they continue to play and improve the way they have been, and fight to the end, which I fully expect, then I'm happy.

I would love for LSU to win the next 3 games, which they can & could; but I'm not going to base their "success or failure" on doing so.

I recognize the reality that there are other very good teams out there who want to win as bad as LSU does. And that they too can & could beat us. I also recognize that some games are decided by one or 2 plays, even 1 yard or 1 point. And that despite sometimes losing, the reality is that the difference between the 2 teams competing is razor thin.

Sometimes the ball bounces your way, sometimes not. Sometimes bad calls are made or missed that effect the outcome. If the margin of difference in a game vs a highly ranked opponent is razor thin and fought to the wire and my team losses......I chose to think, believe that my team is very, very close to being great also, rather than a failure.
