Nuss was getting sacked regardless on the play. It was a total collapse by the O-line.

You could not be more wrong
quote:

I thought Sloan and BK was holding this offense back along with Nuss. It seems to be just Nuss and the Oline

People like you miss the mark so bad when you think you have a point.. Who has coached and installed this offense and Nuss over the last TWO SEASONS?

What exactly did you expect new coaches to come in and do in two weeks against Alabama on the road?

What you seemed to have missed were the amount of successful plays we ran last night.. Take away the PENALTIES on offense, especially when we got in the red zone, the winner comes down to the last possession of the game..

Nuss was pulled bc there were multiple receivers open on multiple plays and the sack when he rolled right into the rush instead of just stepping up into the pocket was the last straw.

BK would have never had the balls to make the switch and would have watched us get beat by 35+
bullshite.. Ppl respected Sloan as a QB coach but nobody supported him being an OC
I understand wanting to clean house too but he made some pretty terrible hires (steeples) that were pretty mind boggling
quote:

Is baker really better than house?

24-25 defenses have been better than 22-23. Statistically they may be similar in some areas but this defense is playing with an offense that can’t keep the defense off the field. When you don’t have an offense that can move the ball and score points, the defense is always going to be worse
Back when BK came in, he let guys like Baker, Raymond, Moffitt, etc leave to bring in guys like House, Polian, Cooks, and Steeples.. All of us heavily questioned Cooks and Steeples. They were awful.

Denbrock leaves, and Sloan is named OC. Again, all of us heavily questioned it.

Not to mention, after House, Cooks, and Steeples hit the door, you get Baker and Raymond to come back to the place they didn’t want to leave ha.

When you take a step back and look at the job he did as a coach and the job he did with evaluating and hiring/firing assistants. He was absolutely awful

But at what level do they play?? The best teams play for coaches they enjoy playing for
quote:

I don't think Nick Saban, jim Harbaugh Bill Belicheck are likable but they never seemed as full of crap as Kelly.

Saban and Harbaugh cannot even be compared to Belichick.. Both of those guys have personality, are great coaches, and their players love them bc those two have shown they care about their players.. Kelly isn’t likable bc he doesn’t seem to really connect with his players on a personal level. The same empty words he speaks to the media every week are the same empty words he speaks to the players. He’s like a boss and not a coach
I don’t give a damn what our ranking is when all I need is my eyes to tell me where we REALLY rank against teams in the top 10
It is 100% true.. I remember looking at the numbers at halftime and bitching about it
quote:

And we did, we had answers. But we needed to do more of it. And at 86% three-down drop 8, you gotta have some other answers. So that's what I didn't like about the game plan is that we needed more answers.

LES MILES YOU GET OUT OF BRIAN KELLYS BODY RIGHT NOW
More times than not, when the first two go the way they have, for some weird reason, game 3 is the hardest to get the win

Well coached teams don’t roll over
You also said Collins took the spot from Swann.. Which is incorrect
quote:

Swann came expecting to be the backup too, but Collins took it from him before he decided to transfer.

Wrong — Swann came in behind Nuss. Which is probably what led to Collins hitting the portal
I think it does tell us a lot on Hurley.. I think him enrolling early was a huge mistake.. He is still 17 years old. If Van Buren takes that #2 spot, that is a very steep hill for Hurley to climb to leap frog Van Buren the next season. I agree they had to bring in a qb regardless, but there’s also a reason they brought in the guy they did

re: Michael Van Buren QB commits to LSU

Nobody is arguing that.. I was speaking more from Van Buren’s perspective. He didn’t come to LSU with someone telling him he may be the #3 guy after being the starter somewhere else as a freshman lol
Exactly so why did you read so much into what I said? Lol.. I said time will tell, which it will!

I also said it seems to be indicative on how the staff feels about Hurley. Of course you have to bring in a qb since Collins left and we lost BU. But they didn’t go after Van Buren just to “add depth”,
Again. No shite..

With the portal and if Van Buren is the #2 next year, chances are Hurley may never be the starter at LSU.

Nothing is set in stone and things can happen.. But all I said is that it seems like Hurley isn’t ready and the coaches may not think he will be a year from now.
