Name a big game we’ve had at 11 am. We’re not going to get excited about playing a high school game but this is Tennessee. I expect Tiger Stadium to be rocking.

It's been a morgue the past 2 years regardless of game time

Sadly I have to work…. I will sneak off and watch. Overtime pay and no expectation to get anything done after lunch.

Well... that has a lot to do with LSU playing a 90's Florida team any year but 1997. Or just about any team playing a 90's Florida team anytime. Last year we played Florida in that slot and it was far from a morgue.

But he's not wrong. Most morning games atmosphere leaves something to be desired.

I was at the Florida game last year. That was an 11 AM kickoff, and while it wasn't packed, it was still a great atmosphere. I feel like Saturday will be even better than that.

frick off a-hole. People who have kids and are decent parents have things to do and most of them are sometime between morning and early afternoon on Saturdays.

I was hoping this would be the only game this month I would get to watch on a TV, but oh well. That’s life and as much as I love LSU, I’m gonna be in the stands supporting my daughter all month and watching what I can on my phone.

In all fairness when he played back in the 90’s those frickers would drop 50 on us at 11 am on JP.

You talk about a hot fricking miserable game to sit through.

So the Florida alumnus who watched his team get beat the last time they came here, in front of a raucous MORNING crowd, thinks it's a morgue in the morning?

What an ignorant take.

I think 2003 Georgia might disagree.

I think it's more about the opponent and the chance your team has to win (this feels fairly obvious).

With this new coaching staff, there was already a renewed sense of excitement and feelings as though we're headed back in the right direction. Even though I think most people expected this season to be a 4 or so loss season, but one that would start to set the tone for Kelly's tenure here. Even moreso after the comebacks in the last 2 games and with the way this defense has played for the majority of the season (the AU game was really rough for 2-3 quarters), I think many fans feel as though this team has a good chance to win (at least that's what it seems like when I talk to people off of this board), regardless of the opponent - and that will do wonders for your stadium environment.

I was more upset at Doering and Nowkhah spend their air time reviewing the LSU Auburn game telling us how much better Auburn looked than the week before. Almost didnt mention LSU at all. The producer must have lit their asses up during the commercial break because when they came back they had to mention the,oh yeah, LSU won that game.

Then they doubled down and praised MSU as an up and coming team and their Loss to LSU was a fluke outlier.
