Yeah Kelly has been super honest with us up to this point. I bet he's totally telling the truth right now lol

He has only said this multiple times in the last several weeks yet the game tape tells a different story. Gonna believe it when I see it.

Evidently.

Now here's a wild "what if". If it only took a week for Nuss to heal, what if LSU had rested and sat him the week of the SLU game? Would Nuss have been fully ready to go vs. Ole Miss, thus allowing LSU to avoid that loss?

Kelly stepped in a big pile of shite with the way he reacted to Cauble's question following the Florida game. It was an OBVIOUS question for any LSU fan who didn't have their heads tucked up their asses. Even though LSU won, the offense was bad that night, which was the 3rd (or at least the 2nd) poor performance in as many weeks. He got mad that he got called out for the obvious deficiency, then made things worse two days later by implying Nussmeier not being fully healthy was a contributing cause for the offenses struggles. Most may have been accepting of that excuse IF BK didn't make the decision to practice/play an (allegedly) injured QB against the weakest opponent on LSU's schedule ahead of an SEC road game. Now that LSU lost to OM, it's back to putting some of the blame on Nuss's health...without an explanation as to why they didn't take steps to get him better the week of the SLU game when they could have.

All of this probably could have been avoided if BK would have just acknowledged LSU's offense looked bad vs. Florida even though they won the game. He could have deflected the question to say something along the lines of "we are working to improve, but I'm proud of the guys for getting a good win tonight." Instead, he threw a tantrum to a question that proved prophetic two weeks later when LSU's crappy offense caused the first loss of the season.

I think you need to come to grips with the fact that Nuss is an average quarerback with average to sub par intelligence and is playing college football at a time when his lack of mobility don’t make him a hot commodity.

After we lose, niss will opt put because he is hurt and wants to heal for the draft. Smh.

Mvb is light years more mobile than nuss and cant throw it too.

What I heard was he didn't throw at all last week but they want to be able to throw the ball better downfield which is a craft that is perfected by practicing throwing it downfield.

why would anyone believe what Kelly says?

he has been lying to the fan base for 4 years now.

he is a liar and a poor example of an actor.

can no longer be trusted.

So he just needed one week to heal. Too bad we didn't have a scrub opponent to do that against between Clemson and Mississippi.

It pisses me off to no end they didn’t immediately after the Clemson game shut Nuss down until the Florida game. There’s also no reason he should’ve been out there taking snaps against SELU. If this was managed correctly, good chance you come out of Oxford with a W. Then another whole week of Nuss resting and not throwing before USCe week.

MVB would’ve be capable of getting a W vs Tech and SELU.

BK said Nuss didn’t throw at all last week. Did some arm stretching and “mental reps”.

Said Nuss, OT Weston Davis and Caden Durham are a go.

Aaron Anderson is probable (dude is battling like 6 injuries)

LG Paul Munenga is questionable. Said Carius Curne could slid inside to guard.
