It's not a shot if he's speaking truth and facts.

I am having a hard time understanding why some have made this into something it’s not.

Wouldn’t all coaches love beating Bama in football?!?!?

I really don’t want a coach that doesn’t .

It’s not even close to the shot Jimbo gave last year to saban.

back handed compliment to Bama

And a back-handed swipe at Notre Dame. Because he couldn't when he was there. Now he finally has the horses...
Unfortunately, the goalposts have shifted. Now he needs to worry about beating Georgia!

Agreed.

I am only assuming he was speaking about neutral site games and playing in the actual college stadiums. Hopefully we can get back to those.....

I would have tickets to FSU in Tallahassee, but I have ZERO desire to go back to Orlando.

Saban and Les did, off the top of my head.

In his postgame interview on the field immediately after the Alabama win you could tell how overwhelmed he was by the environment and it was something even at ND he had never experienced. That night it was one of those now rare occasions where the stadium was electric from start to finish and the crowd never relented...culminating with a walk-of play to win the game.

He's been an excellent HC for years. But even though he will probably never admit it, he always knew he didn't quite have a team/program that would allow him to sit on the top of the college football mountain. He knows he can have that now. LSU has proven it can win championships. It has proven it can bring in a collection of the best players in the US. Its proven it can beat anyone in college football. Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, etc have great programs and great coaches too. But Kelly knows that when he walks into Tiger Stadium he has a program behind him that can fight in any weight class.

How the hell is he supposed to feel, He left Notre Dame to:
1. To Coach LSU - check
2. Play and Win in the SEC- check
3. Change the Culture- check
4. Play against the BEST teams- check
5. Beat the Goat and Alabama- check
My list and Goals often start like this, but seem to never check off so efficiently & suddenly.
Now CBK is about to complete his list. No Goating the Goat, just the facts ma’am.
