I listened to his presser yesterday, and he clearly said we need to win 10 games to show some consistency. He said that would be good, but not great or elite.

He then restated the goal. It isn’t to be good of great; it is to be elite.

You should turn in your LSU fan card now because you absolutely have no concept of what transpired since 2019.

Here's a tip: follow the winning team in college each year, regardless of which team that is, and you'll be a happier person!

Maybe the thread title needs to be changed to LSU fans are delusional, I don’t understand how some of you get so angry because someone disagrees with about the head coach.

I didn’t even mention he’s old as shite and not Nick Saban so I seriously doubt he evolves as college football is evolving.

With the transfer portal a program like LSU should not have a defense ranked outside of the Top 100 ever. Period.

You fricking idiot it's the coaches job to create a reason for the players to stay engaged when championship aspirations are over.

Thats no excuse for the defense right now.

There is talent on the line. Its just not well coached.

If he doesn’t slash and burn on the defensive coaches and find some people who can coach and recruit, 10 wins will forever be his ceiling.

What's hurting BK this year is the results from last year. Last year was such a mirage and came out of nowhere, which lead to higher expectations this season. I guarantee you if I told you before he was hired that in year two he'd compete for 10 wins 90% of this board would've taken it.

Not reading all of the posts but Miles wasn't winning 10 games a season at the end.

National Title is the ultimate goal but 10 wins a year is and has always been the consistency bench mark.

No we got rid of CLM because he failed to win 10 games per season over his last 5 years.

This dudes trying to pretend like he took over a middle of the pack college football program and is trying make them national contenders for this first time ever.

He took over a team with 39 scholarship players coming off back to back .500 or below seasons. Thats below middle of the pack.

I also have high expectations for this program but to act like BK was given a program on Bama and UGA's level is delusional.

If you look at their schedule the only team they beat this year worth talking about is Missouri. This season has not really been impressive at all.

The two teams with a decent defense beat them. Fla St and Alabama

Ole Miss has a crap defense but their offense is good and beat LSU.

When you’re getting elite coach money more than 1 OT win is expected. We’re stuck with this guy because Woodward made a bad hire.

You do realize he took over a program that had like 35 scholarship players on the roster and was a complete dumpster fire right. This certainly was a middle of the pack program when he took it over.

Fair enough, but what responsibility does he bear, if any in your mind, for the worst defense in LSU history?

He needs to fire House at the end of the season (or before) and fix it. No doubt about that.

But for all of you talking about responsibility for this defense as if any head coach can see the future, would you have fired House after what you saw last season? If not, then in spite of all our frustrations, firing House after this season is all that can be done.

Of the top 25 highest paid coaches in college football, no one gets paid under 6.3 million. Kyle Whittingham of Utah would make more than twice what you would want to pay BK.

Some of these idiots have no idea what’s going on across the rest of college football.

Here’s how fricking stupid that statement really is- Zach Arnett and fricking Clark Lea make $3 mil+ and they are at the bottom of the SEC in both pay and results. This fool is talking about LSU going back to the cheap-arse Joe Dean levels of paying bottom dollar for football coaches.

Lol I deleted the "stupid" part because I started to feel like an a-hole, but it's true some folks just need to know more about something before posting.
