Year three is long enough to win the SEC. Next year is the money year. If we have 3-4 loss season next year, we have a body of work and we know what we have.
I don’t know what we have. I expected an 11-1 season was very possible. Now I’m just watching quietly and evaluating not knowing which direction this bus is headed.

This is a good point. Kelly had no justification to fire him after last season even if the warning signs were there (his defense was pretty awful last year too).

All of our LBs look bad. House hasn’t gotten any positive results there.
I wonder if Penn and Speights might look like solid players under a better coach. After seeing what Damone Clark turned into with better coaching, I’ve learned to not completely give up on players who we know aren’t being developed properly.
Even with Jenkins around now, I feel the same way about the defensive line. There’s more talent there than what we are seeing on the field.

Yep. I get that. You’re probably friendlier on here than I am. That skuter guy though, even after he finally realized he was wrong he still had to work in a negative comment in that same post. It’s very hard for me to have patience with some of the people on here. OP definitely included.

And then what happened the next season? 10 wins will establish a baseline for the program. It's been a while since this program has even done that back-to-back. It's a reasonable goal.

To be honest We had a pretty cupcake schedule this year, this is a down year for Bama especially offensively and we still could not do anything to stop them.
I will bet this team doesn’t win 10 games this year.
Also I love the people that get so angry that someone started a post they do not agree with. Instead of just disagreeing y’all will reply 20 times in the post about how someone doesn’t have the correct credentials to be posting on here, and try to be little them.
News flash with the transfer portal and the prestige of LSU football how the team has played this year is absolutely embarrassing but hey we were .500 two years ago, so it’s ok for our defense to be almost DEAD LAST. Y’all are probably the same people that want every kid to get a participation trophy when they lose.

We only have a couple of talented players on Defense at the moment. Beyond that we have no one on that side of the ball that could start for an SEC team. The cabinet is bare!
