Sec teams are always 1-3 seeds. Conference rpi and team rpi and perceived strength of conference wont allow it. 4 seeds will be auto bids and small conference teams

We played the #1 team. It’s Vandy nobody else they are by far the best team in this country top to bottom

They are great on Fri and Sat. After Rocker and Lieter the pitching is suspect. 1 bad outing by either of those two come tournament time and they are beatable. GA was one inning away from winning the series against Vandy last night. GA gave Rocker his 1st loss and almost did the same with Lieter.

I don’t agree. Game 3 was anyone’s game, and with Marceaux on the mound, game 1 could have been very competitive. But we made errors, and near errors, and eventually wore Marceaux out. If we played defense behind him that’s a close game. We probably should have lost 2-1, with an outside chance at taking the series, but we played terribly.

It would probably take a 12 seed conference SECt champion with a weak out of conference schedule. Otherwise very unlikely.
