LSU needs to follow if the SEC doesn’t back off and fire Sankey this week.

Why would he be fired? It appears basically every other SEC institution has his back. He's doing what they want him to do

Yeah, I don't get how lsu fans don't understand this.

We'd have to rally the proverbial troops and get enough member schools to back us, which I doubt is possible at this time

Couldn’t we seek a restraining order based on the same first amendment association grounds the SEC is trying to use against us?

If Chambliss has yet to be deemed eligible, why should any single member be forced to associate with him when his continued presence and participation is against the rules OM agreed to?

I don't think member institutions have enforcement authority in the SEC bylaws

Do you think the state court didn't fairly apply the applicable law?

Was this not a court of proper jurisdiction?

Correct

And they will give everything they have to the NCAA for whatever they find outside of this scenario.

Because the professional status is clearly a bright line for them.

Define professional status when it comes to the amateur athletes, in all represented sports, that collectively filed suit?

Knowing the history of the SEC and member institutions this all seems like a bunch of schools upset over Lane and LSU’s success and perceived future success.

The allegations are nothing. Everyone knows the SEC institutions are not pure. There is a history of shady dealings by almost every institution and the allegations are not even at the level to truly register a response in a vacuum. It all is about a perceived power shift of football and athletics to future LSU dominance/control of the league.

Member institutions can do whatever they can convince a 2/3rds majority to do. They can---and are threatening---to do this:

"Lane Kiffin and LSU lack decorum. We are offended. LSU is expelled."
