They don't have anything damaging on LSU or CLK. If they did, they wouldn't be asking a federal judge to give them authority to act. What you see and hear is what they have for justification. We dared to challenge their authority and had the audacity to poke fun at them as well. Sad but true.

The SEC didn’t get sued until they tried to flex two weeks ago. Had they let this go through the courts all of this could have been avoided

LSU needs to follow if the SEC doesn’t back off and fire Sankey this week.

seems to me that the sec acts more like a cartel selectively enforcing "rules" to block players from selling their nil to the highest bidder

The reason why they had to file this federal suit (the home town state court suit) directly plays into what they would be looking for against LSU/LSUFB

See the "we" part is the issue.
LSU has been operating under the ruse that "we" did no such thing and it was the players doing this themselves.

He literally does: the players have said that Ole Miss also recruited them.
To me the most interesting thing will be internal communications between Sankey and other SEC schools, on how they crafted the hastily put together rule that favored Texas but specifically excluded these players.

And neither was Chambliss according to the NCAA, however the SEC never got involved with his case like they have with this one. He got a sympathetic Mississippi and Ole Piss Alum to grant his injunction and Sankey or the other SEC schools never batted an eye. LSU/CLK say we will roster these players IF a court says they can play just like Chambliss and all of a sudden the SEC gets involved, threatens the nuclear punishments and the other 15 schools want to expel LSU.
As CLK said we can’t pick and choose which court orders we want to follow so yes any action taken against LSU/Kiffin would be nuked in a court anywhere by any judge.

Because the professional status is clearly a bright line for them.

Make Chambliss have to go back to court to get the SEC added to the TRO.

We'd have to rally the proverbial troops and get enough member schools to back us, which I doubt is possible at this time
People on this board are hyper-focused on Sankey when it's clear that the member institutions are the ones pushing this, and a lot of them.

Well isn’t it the truth though? Not a ruse. No hard evidence that LSU coerced those players to sue. And if I remember correctly more than our targets took the stand on their own behalf.
