These “executives” need to be a little more thoughtful with their communication between each other and with the public. Early indications show poor LSU representation.

This is all going exactly as "they" planned ..bout to hire schroyer as AD who has 4 years experience as an AD/Administrator...was a terrible basketball coach...but apparently is a "genius" because he was literally the only AD in America who would employ WW...what a clown show this still is... I knew it was not on the up and up when the BOS was conducting interviews for ONE position, president, but magically hired 2 people somehow

I have had friends from 3 different states and who aren't LSU fans text me in the last week, basically saying "WTF is going on down there". So people are noticing.

Verge leaked the removal to the media to (try to) force Rousse’s hand. Rousse didn’t want Verge. Doesn’t trust him. Board members leveraged votes to remove interim title. Agreement was no contract or raise. Just remove title.
Yes Rousse knows about Title IX stuff. But you can’t say “I think it’s outrageous and he’s corrupt and I hate the mfer” to media. Btw Gov hates Verge. Was pissed about title removal.
This is a result of way too many hands in the cookie jar. Not of Rousse being dumb or confused about what interim means.
ETA- and YES this is my first post and YES I just created my account because I know how you people are. I’ve been quietly reading TD for close to 20 years. Now have a vested interest and am *in the know* so felt like joining the conversation. Take it or leave it.

Jeff Landry and his Cajun circus are damaging everything they touch and because they don’t love LSU or respect the school and its people, this is the predictable outcome. I would vote for JBE before I vote for Landry again…I can’t wait to get this idiot out of the public office.

I did like what he had to say about an organizational chart and improving the efficiencies of all of the LSU campuses
Dalton seems like a good guy and they’re going to get along fine
But they’re just trying to figure out what’s wet right now
It’s a tough position to be put into when you have a vacancy at the AD and the head coach and you got the governor going on TV
And then you get moved from McNeese State, and now you’re in charge of all campuses in the entire state of Louisiana
That’s a tough position to be put into. I say let’s give him a break.
Let the dust settle a bit give them some time to figure things out
I think what he wanted to do was help the coaching search by removing the interim A.D. title that might hinder his ability to land a coach
But at the same time, we don’t have time to go out and find a new A.D. while we’re trying to find a coach
So what was he supposed to do?
