This. When I was a freshman at LSU I spend all of my paw points on easy mac and coke (the drink) in two weeks. I couldn't imagine what I would have done with that much responsibility.

Paw points. Wow. Haven’t heard that in 23 years. F*ck I’m old.

Yeah, when the points ran out, it was living on Bailey’s and Canes. If I had enough money after getting plowed at Sports I’d go to Louie’s.
If worse came to worse it was whatever the 7-11 had on Burbank.

Idk about all that stuff but this kid quit on the team while being the #2 target in our passing game. Idc what he’s going through, he’s not the first and he won’t be the last to have “problems”.

The pre-season #1 quit, the existing in-season #1 quit prior to Bama, etc, after making a rah-rah speech to the team 2-weeks prior. It is what it is, people can keep trying to differentiate time in season, motivation for quitting, etc but it doesn't matter as all became unavailable to LSU. If AG legit wants to come back and is focused on working hard and improving as a player, then yeah, I want him back.

ehhhh...you dont turn away a physically talent specimen like he is

I don’t know. He’s still just one player. I think it all depends on just how distracting it was, how vocal he was, etc. We will never be privy to that.

If he’s just going through some things then by all means welcome him back. But if he was being a malcontent diva then you happily let him go especially with all the guys coming back and the momentum we seem to be building.

Canes and Bailey's was like McDonald's and McDowell's in "Coming to America." They opened within a week of each other, they both did a box with fingers, fries, slaw, toast and had the special sauce which tasted almost exactly the same. And when Cane's opened their 2nd location, they put it right across the street from Bailey's. I'm sure there was an interesting back story there.

I used to give the edge to Bailey's though because they used to have $1 off coupons in the Tiger Weekly Student Newspaper and you could grab like 20 newspapers and just keep using the coupons and get all that food for like $3.50. It was the best.

Was that 95 or 96? I remember when they opened. I also remember the cheap knockoff version that opened at the same time- Mother Cluckers. It was right across the street from the School of Music and was dirt cheap, so we went often.

According to an article I read, it was 1996. Bailey's apparently had 1 other location in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

He’s a kid, guys. There is probably a lot of what-ifs going through the young man’s mind right now. Let’s give him time and see what happens....

College station has Laynes. I work with an Aggie and that was interesting to hear. Laynes opened before canes. 94 vs 96.

This season proved more than any other that all the talent in the world can be derailed by bad chemistry and locker room culture.

Uh, no offense. But, if you wanted to weight the reasons that we were .500 this year, lack of talent BY FAR outweighed the bad chemistry.

I have no doubt there WAS bad chemistry. But, pretending this team was immensely talented is a joke.
