First thing Fowler says. "Do not want to score too quickly." He's right.
Harris was not open initially. He got open late with a push off at the 2-yard line. It happened quickly. It would have been a difficult transition/throw
Brown completely whiffed on Kite. If Brown gets any body on Kite, LSU is inside the 3-yard line. An ideal result for that play.
LSU's false start on the next play hurt more.

This was his third game as a LK coached LSU QB in his FOURTH YEAR in a major college program. He should have at least a small semblance of awareness. He had 3 qtrs against an OM defense and did not progress even a tiny bit. CLK better have his young backup QB ready in every big game from here on in because I don’t think Sam is near ready for SEC defenses that have plenty of film on him. But that’s just MHO!

There were open wide receivers all over the field Saturday night. I was screaming at the TV, meanwhile Sam is running around like a chicken with his head cut off, holding the ball with one hand like a sack of potatoes.
