Harris was not open initially. He got open late with a push off. It happened quickly. It would have been a difficult transition/throw
Brown completely whiffed on Kite.

Do yall not see the OM defender right in the passing breaking down his feet?
It is the dudes 1st SEC game on the road at night. He is a college qb. He is not Joe Burrow. not every Qb is going to make every play perfect.

Let's be honest here- Leavitt wasn't trying to score on that play.
Notice the clock- 1:52 left. We didn't want a TD that early, because that gives Chambliss the ball for the win.

I hate to say it.
Sam is NOT a good passing QB at all.
He makes bad throws. He doesn’t set his feet and makes bad decisions.

Thank you. The opening offensive play set the tone for the entire game for Leavitt & it lasted all the way to the final failed drive.

Im not making up excuses, yall just like what expect this kid to become Tom Brady in fall camp? he didnt even go through spring. the timing with wide outs is not where is should be. His feet get rushed and some times that is because the line is getting beat in front of him, some times bc he is a college Qb.
Some of this from Sam is also who he is, he is going to try to fit balls in some places that he should not.
Some of this is because in this offense we dont have a guy who can take the top off of the Defense... that makes it harder on your Qb no matter who he is. And this Goal line here is really hard when #7 isnt on the field.
And Sam is going to run because his running ability makes winning plays.

Doesn't change what I said. Look at the screen again
We are down 8, with just under 2 minutes left and Ole Miss still has a timeout. And it's 1st and Goal.
We are not running a play for a TD that early.
Kiffin and Weiss are playing for overtime now. That means trying to burn clock and that last Ole Miss timeout, then getting the TD and 2 pt conversion with maybe 30 seconds left.
You don't give Chambliss nearly 2 minutes and a TO to get into long FG range.

Leavitt is a warrior, but his brain kind of shuts off once he darts out of the pocket. It sucks because it basically blows up our own play while simultaneously exposing Leavitt to unnecessary injury.

While I agree with you to an extent, we simply don't know how good the guys are currently because Leavitt fails to get the ball to them properly & on time. My feeling is that guys like Wilson & Brown could do well with YAC if the ball got them in a timely fashion & on target.

You CANNOT waste an opportunity to score there. You are down 8. The score isn't tied. You are infatuated with trying to prove a stupid point to even realize just how ridiculous you sound. I guess him missing the TE in the endzone was to burn more clock too, right?
