Apparently #4 was WIDE OPEN for a TD on the last drive

Sam has tunnel vision. He gets rattled easily. And it's killing the team.

Fan of this dude but I’m starting to agree with you guys now he wants to takeoff and run. He needs to realize he’s not running back. He’s a quarterback

It would’ve had to be a perfectly placed touch pass. Can’t throw a dart there. The CB covering Brown could’ve picked it. A floater would’ve given the DB time to close the window and would’ve led Harris to the edge of the endzone.

He was also wide arse open on the 3rd and 15 when it was 10-0
Safety was moving in the opposite direction his route was going and actually slipped when he tried to correct his position, so if Sam hits him in stride he likely takes it to the house.
Instead we punt and its 17-0 instead of 10-7

At that point of the still frame, yes you are correct. The problem begins with Sam having no anticipation of the Harris clearing & being open on the route. The ball needs to be thrown prior to the still shot in the OP. That requires the ability to have anticipation & the ability to throw a receiver open. Sam doesn't possess that ability at this time.

Opening play of the game, he had both Wilson & Green open for chunk yardage. All he had to do was shuffle up slightly to the right inside the pocket & deliver the ball. Instead, he completely scrambles out right & throws an incomplete pass. Set the tone for his poor play for the rest of the game right then & there.
