Has to be no earlier than 4th.

Also, curious how much his salary would be compared to his NIL if he stayed this upcoming year.

Even a grade this high would be entirely based on potential and being physically gifted.

If they turn on the tape and actually analyze his game this past season, he may slip further.

For everyone to think he sucks so bad, why are there so many threads about him leaving?

Maybe the young man just doesn't like school or perhaps he just doesn't want to risk another injury before getting his shot in the NFL.

No one on here knows his projected draft position, but I wish him nothing but the best.

You are correct, see Anthony Richardson.

Because while he’s not pro ready we saw some flashes at the end of the year. He has extreme potential but has not unlocked it this year. Finally, it’s because we are selfish and want LSU to be better than any pro team and would like to have someone that could play into a first round pick in the D Line.

Yep. He didn’t do shite here but earn Frosh All America and Frosh All SEC.
He fell short of being all America and we don’t accept subpar performances on the rant.

Then he was such a prick to go and get hurt.

He has always had potential because of tangibles. He should be 100% healthy in 2024 & stood to improve his stock as much as any Junior I can ever remember at LSU — for the record I don’t normally chime in on these “farewell” topics unless it’s an appreciation post.

We are clearly about to bring in a big name DL coach. It’s a position of major need & would have been a mutually beneficial arrangement.

And he was never, at any point, playing for free. So yeah… it’s not a mystery why people are upset.

He’s not a dud, but I’m firmly in the camp that this was a stupid decision. If he proves me wrong — more power to him. He would’ve really benefited from some more development. I don’t think the NFL is big on holding hands.

He has good freshman tape, got better as he got healthier this year, and has insane measurables. We’re going to miss him and he’ll get drafted top 4 rounds.

Life is a crap shoot. I am sure the coaching staff discussed the pros and cons. For sure if he stayed and was an all SEC player, higher pick and much more money. If he stayed and was a bust or worse got a career ending injury then he is totally screwed. So it is his call and I do not fault him for his decision. Will never know the "what If" cause he chose to not take the road less traveled. Whether it was the right choice remains to be seen. Only a guess but I would think last season's defensive debacle played a major role in this decision.

Besides a few games at the end, he genuinely got his shite pushed in all year. There is no way he goes in the first 3-4 rounds. Bc he's 6'5 310? He got dominated in 80% of our games.

He needed to come back and prove he wasn't this season. Such a dumb decision. Esepcially when getting nil as ya do it

Saw a mock early this morning that had him going 99th. Kid cost himself a lot of money even if he goes in the 2nd round.
