And just like a high school team a college coach can’t leave his boys hanging in a high stress situation. The AD should fine the crap out of him for this.
This isn’t the majors where grown arse men shouldn’t be rattled by the coach getting chunked.

Agree. I like a lot about that coach but he has a temper. Sometimes it’s good. In that case he hung our boys out to dry. Same with coastal.

He stepped into a great program that he didn’t build. He was acting like he was Bobby Knight. Build and win something on your own before you act like you’re a hall of famer.

Agree on that. I was talking about my kid’s hs coach from earlier post that had a similar meltdown.

Roids will do that to ya. There’s no doubt he’s a steroid jerk as is half the team.

And watching his post game QA. He's an odd guy. Has to be bad PR for recruiting. You wanna play for this guy? He's kinda weird.

They might...if they're assholes like him.

He said this in his post-game presser: "If you guys watch the video, there was a guy who came in extremely aggressively, tripped over Campos’ foot, embarrassed in front of 25,000, and goes ‘two-game suspension’ and says ‘bumping the umpire.' There was no bump. I shouldn’t be held accountable for a grown man’s athleticism. Now it’s excessive because I was trying to say I didn’t bump him."
That's a complete and utter lie. He was thrown out for aggressively arguing balls and strikes and refusing to leave the field of play. Shameful fabrication of what actually happened. He didn't have the courage to own his actions and the consequences.

Complete lack of class and situational awareness.
He’s cut from a different cloth. That’s for sure. I liked how he supported his own and ripped in to Florida’s O’Sullivan.

And instead of showing remorse, he doubled down on being mistreated. He comes of very small

1) the rules clearly state you cannot argue balls, strikes, half swings or hit by pitch.
2) if you continue arguing after a warning, you SHALL be ejected.
There’s no wiggle room. He was warned, continued to argue and then charged the field.
I’m no lip reader but even I could tell he was laying a few F-bombs on the officials.
This one ain’t even close. And then this ole boy talks about “Own It” and taking responsibility. A circus act.

He certainly fricked himself... there's a number of traditionally good teams in need of a coach, that have a lot more resources to devote to baseball than Coastal Carolina. Stanford, A&M, even Rice and TCU come to mind pretty quickly.
But who's willing to write a check to a guy so volatile that he gets himself tossed in the beginning of a CWS Finals game?

Different coach I believe

The guy is an arse but he didn’t knock over an umpire and no one was ejected for even touching an ump.

Coaches all the way down to Little League know you can’t argue balls and strikes. He admitted in the presser he heard a “vague” warning before he stepped on the field. Hope his AD has video from all angles and goes through them with him frame by frame with a transcript of what he said happened to show him how fos he is.

Guy was born on 2nd base but acts like he hit a double. The coach that actually built the program must have been cringing.

Probably the best CC can hire. Also why he is there for life.
That being said, Schnall definitely has mental problems.
Why I know he has been in therapy.

Lol crying about strike zone in the first inning
The umps were terrible at calling balls and strokes but they were at least consistent (except for Anderson’s last inning)

I don’t remember the 2016 series. Did their coach at the time continue to talk down to the media leading up to the game explaining how to pronounce their mascot, explain they belong, they are not a Cinderella, list stats why they are a premier program?
Bc this coach did. And it’s clear they are in fact not ready for the primetime spotlight. The coach let these kids down and it’s sad. Horrible leadership throughout the tournament.
