My buddy is at the game and had a bet on Bregman hitting a HR.

When he gets hot he is one of the most dangerous hitters in the big leagues.
Can be a difference maker in the postseason.

Nope, that title still goes to Albert Belle. It’s not even that close tbh. Look at the stats

This might be a stretch. Maybe in recent times based on awards, but he’s still looking at Belle, Theriot, Nola, and now Skenes when it comes to dominance at a position.

Bregman has 8.0 more career WAR than Albert Belle. Basically two full all-star-caliber seasons

Not sure what this means but he is a 100% lock not to make the HOF. Let's just be real.

He's been on absolute fire since the break.

HOF might be a stretch but it’s also a joke to compare him to Nola and Theriot and Skenes.

No disrespect to them but bregman has had a far better career than both theriot and Nola and his peak in 2019 is equal to Skenes in value. He was robbed of the MVP because of voters being in love with Trout.

ETA

Being one of the 3 faces of a franchise that won 2 World Series and played in 2 others would normally buy some bonus points but not sure how that will be viewed. I think the longevity post 2017 will help

You lost me at Theriot. And Nola’s peak was great but it was short and he’s pretty washed now. Skenes also has a lot of years to go
