Kiffin made a deal with Carter if they make the SEC Championship he gets to finish the season, if not he’s out. Hence why there’s been no announcement. But just know, when all the dust settles, LK will be a Tiger.

A reporter just told LK he’s 2 wins away from being the all time winningest coach in OM football history and how much did that mean to him?
He said a lot of uhs and ums and said he wasn’t aware of that. Then went on to praise his players and assistant coaches. Never addressed the actual question

Update:
Meeting was supposed to be 1 hour, lasted 3. Ole miss is in a tough spot. They fire him now - not only is it a distraction but they owe him the buyout of 30mil. He wanted to coach Egg Bowl so that was his bargain to sign after instead of being fired. Met with players a little bit ago. The outcome will still be Egg Bowl —> BR
