Every O-line will collapse if the QB never makes the quick read and constantly needs 5+ seconds of protection

Ok, so we should blow out Texas A @ M next week, since Kentucky manhandled a team that walked us out of our own stadium last year.
We have too many soft and weak players to just show up on the road and win.

1. game is too fast for him right now
2. he isnt a consitently accurate passer even when makes the right read
3. he relies on his legs too much
4. his throwing motion requires him to find clear throwing lanes
5. he is rusty
all but #2 and #4 can be fixed this season

A lot of people pointed this out before the season and were treated like Pariahs. This is his exact tape from the last 3 years. He ain't in the Pac 10 w Skatt and Tyson anymore, so he can't hide. He'd be a nice QB for Georgia Tech, but he's horrible if you want to be a Championship type team.

List the strengths.
I think Kiffin and Weiss can groom the guy. He's raw as hell, but has the talent. They need to make him consistent, and I think that's right up Kiffin's alley.
Sometimes you lose a game like this. It's not the end of the world, unless you let it become that.

He sucks. Plain and simple. He gets your hopes up only to miss 18 open receivers and throw an interception. The writing was on then wall last week against Tech. He doesn’t have “it”.

I've never seen a QB have passes swatted down, tipped, thrown into helmets as much as Leavitt!!
It's just uncanny.
I can't say he's a bad QB, but he definitely offsets any good plays he makes with equally, or perhaps more, overthrown balls, bad passes, missed receivers, interceptions, etc.
He just risky/scary and unreliable, unpredictable. We might could still get to the playoffs with Leavitt if he improves, but we will not win playoff games with him & certainly not a championship.
People keep saying many of his problems can be "coached", but I don't think or see that with Sam. And as far as him improving.....he's had a lot of snaps, plays in 3 games.....and he has NOT improved.
At this point, I think we simply have to, must find out what Landon Clark's upside (or downside) could be. Sam needs time to improve if he can/will, and fortunately everything we have seen from Landon so far allows us to give Sam that time. And I would not be surprised one bit if Landon plays fantastic from the git go and smokes em. I say give Clark a start. Pull him if/when he struggles.

He just needs another year to cook. Almost no player immediately comes into the SEC and dominates the first year, even Burrow. It takes time for the game to slow down.
