Have some fricking perspective

The young high school and college kids on here are screaming and crying like their life just ended.
Get over it. Your favorite team of 18-23 year old paid pros just lost a game.
I’m the biggest LSU fan I know. And yea tonight’s loss sucked. But the way 75% of this board reacts to a loss is sad.
Is there nothing in your life that is bigger and more important that LSU football? If the answer is no, that’s a problem.
Find faith, find a family… find a career or something that drives you personally. Not just a game you don’t have control over.
I’m 40 now… and the last 5-10 years have brought me so much clarity on LSU.
I get being passionate… I get it.., but Jesus Christ. Yall act like the world just ended because a group of kids lost to Kentucky. Did you really have us as natty contenders year 1?

frick that. We are tired of the season being over in October every year. We can’t even make a fricking 12 team playoff.

It's not the losing that everyone is pissed off at. Yes, losing sucks. It's the way we lost. Kentucky didn't do anything exotic. Just ran it straight at the defense.

Humans are inherently tribalistic. The state football team provides an outlet for that tribalism. When the team looks like shite people are going to be upset. At least it still means something. When the apathy sets in that’s when it’s truly over.

You’re 100% right, but a message board isn’t where you will find people that agree. Sure, there are so many things in my life that are more important, but since I’m pissed about LSU football at this moment, and it’s something I’m passionate about, I’m listening to Hanny and parking my car here.
ETA: I’m 40 as well, and the last 5 years brought me a wife, a kid, an affair, a divorce…I have perspective too. And LSU football is what I tune into to massage my woes. Baker is fricked. Kiffin shoulda gone for it.

Is there nothing in your life bigger than complaining about other people complaining? They are posting on a message board on a Saturday night. Nobody says this is the biggest thing in their life, it is just what they are doing in their free time on a Saturday night.
