According to Rivals they have the following ranked in the State:

Bryton Constantin--#7--Clemson
Makia Tongue--#13--Georgia
Jordan Clark--#14--Arizona St
Christian Harris--#16--Texas A&M
Michael Hollins--#29--UVA

I am not expecting us to recruit all of them, but to have 5 guys on the same team, much less the same campus seems like there may be an issue.

None of them had offers. The 2020 DL from UHigh Roy is already committed to LSU. There is no problem.

What's up with people starting this same fricking thread every week? I'm not saying everyone should read every thread that's been started on this board, but maybe doing one search might help.

Most if not all did not have commitable offers. They wanted to play college football at a P5 level and committed before that opportunity was gone.

If anyone has a problem with a guy going out of state from UHigh this year shame on them. Most have lived in BR their whole lives and do not have a real offer from LSU They needed or need to commit elsewhere or those would have been gone. Back in the Bear Bryant days yes LSU could extend 40 real offers just to prevent guys from going elsewhere, those days are over. There are no Tim Williams or Dylans Moses on this years team, albeit they are very good.

Only Christian Harris had an offer from us, LSU had other targets.

I am curious as to why we haven't offered him. Dude is a player.

Nevertheless, We have only offered 1 out of those 5 players so we aren't heavily going after them. Therefore, this isn't a problem.

What’s the story behind Harris? We offered but didn’t communicate much?

He wants out of LA?

We have other LBs we prefer?

That’s not true. We have offered only 1 of them.

Maybe because Dave Aranda has identified better DE/LB’s who fit his defensive system better than Constantin and the others listed. Many of these U-High kids have spent their entire teenage life going to HS on LSU’s campus. Some just want to get away and experience college outside of LA ... i.e. Kenny Young who made it clear he was leaving the State.

Gordon 888-8888 got these kids from all over the state and country so it’s no surprise they naturally want to go back closer to home.

Of the seniors the one I’m a bit surprised we didn’t offer is Jordan Clark, Ryan’s son.

No idea, but I'm sure that Aranda is well aware of him and has chosen other recruits to spend his efforts recruiting. I assume that while he is a good player, the others that Aranda has recruited are better.

U High is an embarrassment right now. Bunch of athletes transfering in, going to expensive private school for free, then not attending LSU.

Still can’t get over what a piece of shlt Moses turned into. He was such a great kid.

Harris and Tongue and Devonta Lee are almost identical players. Tongue wants to play receiver, but he's not prototypical for what we're looking for. Christian Harris wants to play defense, but he's a bit of a project there.

Constantin I've heard is not great for the locker room, but that's just what I've read here. He may be a great kid, and I'm just an a-hole repeating a rumor.

We've got bigger fish at running back than Hollins. Too bad because I think he'll be really good in college. I think he'll be the best of the U High bunch from this class.

All the guys we have at DB match Clark's athleticism, but are taller and longer than Clark. Just what it is.

We didn’t offer the majority of them.

Only Harris got an offer and most believe it wasn’t committable.
