Nope, but we really wanted him.. We already have a great OL class. But Marcus loved him and they ponied up... The game is expensive now, and you have recruit your own players constantly just to keep them.

bye. I am not big on taking more than one or two HS kids a year on the OL due to low percentage of them not helping you for at least a year or two. let them go elsewhere and get paid and then pick up in transfer portal once they actually mature more physically and prove they are ready to step in and contribute.

They did not “Really want” this kid. They would’ve taken him but not at an inflated $$ amount. HS OLmen need at least 1/2 years to develop so why waste the $$ on someone that wont help ypu for another 2 ywars?

Part of it may be a pissing contest with A&M.. Who knows... I rarely pay to close attention to recruiting but this guys recruitment interested me.

Here ya'll go running with lies...If she doesn't like LSU, it's not about the money. She could've been turned off by something stated during their visit. Start there first instead creating bullshite and spreading lies throughout the board.

That’s part of the direction the LSU staff is taking with HS recruits. They aren’t going to pay a 5 star to sign here and sit for a season only to ask for more money or hit the portal after 1 year.
