All super seniors won’t count. So guys like Farrell, Logan, Dec, Anthony, shanahan etc do not count towards our number.

You are missing the point.

Supposedly the only reason he would be coming back is because he can't go anywhere else.

Wonder how the team feels about this?

Maybe the real story will come out one dayk

“Supposedly”

None of us know what ACTUALLY is going on. Leave it at that

That's why I said:

I thinks that's part of it based on some of the news reports, but I've seen some posts that mom still really likes LSU and it would certainly make sense that Peetz and/or Mangas reached out to him unless O said don't.

The key word you used is "supposedly". We don't know. Chase opted out in August when we were counting on him to contribute. If he had just declared early on it wouldn't have been as bad. Marshall opted out during the season before Gilbert and after addressing the team and telling them to stick together. If Marshall had sat down with Gilbert and said I'm sticking it out and you can too would Arik still leave? Instead the team's best offensive player, veteran and guy that says stick together bails on his team.

Marshall is a hometown kid and one of my favorite Tigers, but I'm having difficulty seeing Gilbert's situation as worse.

We keep Gilbert and finish off these last 3 spots in this 21 class with a bang we’re going back to the playoff in 2021.

Peetz and Mangas look better to play under than Linehan

If Peetz talks to him, I'd bet it's above 90% chance he returns. Peetz seems like the type its difficult to say no.

Gilbert won't count against it, likely final three are Moko, BTJ, and a CB/LB.

He's one those guys who will quit again, or opt out on the 22 season. Are you sure you want that?

Do you know anything about the great Tennessee and Green Bay DL, Reggie White. He screwed off for a couple years at UT. Fans were bitching, calling him a quitter until his Jr, year, if I remember correctly. Then he got healthy and the rest is history.
Lets see how it plays out before we judge.

What's the reason he "supposedly" can't go anywhere else?

At this point, if he comes great and if he doesn't, I'm okay too! Frankly, just tired of hearing his name. He's a spoiled, momma's boy that needs to grow up!

I just heard he couldn't get a waiver.

Who knows what is actually true.

That is what i meant by thats the only reason he is coming back.

Like i said, maybe one day we will find out the truth

Unless there's some NCAA or SEC rule, that's bullshite. Talented but cancerous players are like crazy but hot women. Someone always thinks they can change them.
