That's the best sign there is. Though a press conference the day before is kind of pointless. Why not just wait a day and sign?

There was never going to be a press conference, anyway. Maybe a commitment ceremony/statement, but the Press wasn't going to be there and ask questions...this whole talk is just some silly misunderstanding.

And that someone is you. The LHN has TWO partners, ESPN and Texas. Sure Texas is still getting paid but ESPN is hemorrhaging money on the LHN with no end in sight. Texas also has a much more lucrative backend on the deal after it pays out and I guarantee ESPN is counting the lack of subscriber fees against that number. Not getting a subscriber fee for their network is a massive failure regardless of if you want to ignore it or not.
Making matters worse is that the inevitable money coming down the pipeline from the SEC network that will trump the 15 million UT is getting from the LHN. Maybe not upfront, but the subscription costs when the channel gets picked up (which it will, because it's going to be in insane demand) will end up being very lucrative for all of the conference's members. This will only serve to illuminate how flawed the concept is of a 24 hour one-school television network.

Is this the same coach that set up the UT visit?
If so, I won't trust anything he says until Herron signs, especially after the way Davis' coach played the game last year.
