There is only one solution. LSU must immediately build a bigger and better broadcasting/journalism program. No cost is too great.

Missouri is one, if not the best, in the nation for Broadcast Journalism. LSU has a great program but if the kid is serious about playing in the SEC and his education, Missouri is the best out there.

What is slimey about it? He's doing his job. Porter recruited Herron while still at Ariz St. He gets a new job and is recruiting for a new school.
I still don't think he flips and I agree he's a better fit for LSU's D. If he goes to Texas, he'll need to redshirt to become a DT. The only thing that might stick out for Herron is that Texas currently has zero commits on defensive line for 2013. Nada, zilch, nyet.

Stands out to me too - basically screams "why the frick would anyone want to go to UT to play defense right now"
To not have successfully recruited a single DL recruit is pitiful. It is an indictment, not a positive. There's a reason UT hasn't been able to attract defensive talent.

Nah, it's just the opposite, in the SEC, we pay the parents directly. Texas seems to prefer going through the HS coaches.

I don't doubt that, although he's new for me. I don't like everything I've read about the guy, but Mack needed a sparkplug & Porter is it. UT fans complain about a lot of stuff. I know, I've been one for a long time. College football brings out the best & worst in fans.
