Moscona: LSU has topped out in its Easton Royal bid- won’t go higher.

He also said that UF is the real threat here. Apparently, they are going all in to land him and willing to pay higher than Texas and LSU.
So tea leaves:
Royal to the highest bidder.

Spend the money in the portal if he goes to Florida.
Legree from Oregon State and a bigger WR from a small school that emerges

I don't believe that he knows that.

He’d be a moron to pick Florida

Don’t believe him lol

LSU brand has bigger value in state after football.
Maybe this kid is all world and it won’t matter.
But I know quite a few making a good living off their LSU brand from years past. Just think there’s more to it than just immediate dollars if you want to live here long term.

Don't blame the kid for playing the game to get the highest payday. Hell, Texas is paying him now while he's in high school since he's committed. Sometimes you get burned and piss off the school you really want to go to in the process as they decide you're not worth it to pursue anymore. If I were Texas I wouldn't be paying for him to whore himself around. C'est la vie! I'm more confident than ever that CLK can evaluate and create great offenses around less expensive WR's.

I'd rather more Jordan Seatons from the portal than this kid.

Anyone have an idea how much LSU is offering?
Posted on 10/5/26 at 10:29 am to Covingtontiger77

Doesn't Florida have a history of promising kids more money than they can actually pay?

There's not been many cases that these divas only searching for a pay day actually pan out to live up to their hype. Not saying he can't or that he shouldn't get what he is worth, but if money is all he is after, then I'd pass.

This was always the case. I honestly thought lsu would go pretty high on the nil.
I'm starting to think he isn't going to be at lsu.

In my experience, chasing the highest payday over a solid salary with a the better fit/culture has not worked out.
But age and experience teach you that. Hopefully, the young man has some solid advisors in his corner. Otherwise, he will have to learn the hard way with bigger stakes at 18 than I've had in my entire life.

Wow I did not know that that type of thing was going on. What are they pawning off as NIL? Or can they just hand cash over now with zero "product" from the athlete?

Yall are so pathetic with the chicken little garbage. Royal is going to LSU

Would be a MASSIVE loss if we lose an in state kid to a rival school. He will step foot on any campus as the best receiver immediately.

Florida was riding high off the emotional Ole Miss win. A few more losses and their big donors will calm down about opening the check book.

There’s just no reason to worry about LSU recruiting anymore. We have some of the best evaluators and developers in the country on our staff.
