Luis has played in the G league but that’s not a problem anymore. The problem is he signed a 2 way NBA contract. That’s still considered a deal breaker with the NCAA. It’s what made Bediako different at Alabama.
There are multiple guys that are going to challenge this in court. I guess the thinking is one will break through which will set precedent for everyone else.

Bediako's initial Spurs' contract after going undrafted was a two-way deal.

As cool as it sounds, I really dislike the state of basketball recruiting. The 5x5 rule I can understand, but if you got drafted, played in the G-League, or signed a two-way sorry you can't go back to college.
I'm OK with the idea of guys from overseas if they aren't above a certain age.

I don't think American kids playing in G League should be treated worse than Euros playing pro basketball and coming here to play.
I'd rather none of it, but if these are the rules we're going to go after them if it helps us win.

I believe he signed but never played? I could be wrong but if that's the case I bet that is the route we are going to try and pursue.
