Funches will be committing to Gonzaga

Wing depth was the main area we wanted to recruit. If everything goes to plan, both DJ Thomas and Jalen Reece will be back next year so we didn’t need to take a point guard this cycle.
We’ll have PJ Carter, Mackinnon, Rashad King, Sutton, and Tamba running out of eligibility so recruiting the wing in high school and after the season in the portal is gonna be important for us.
We were interested in one center, Sam Funches, but that also isn’t an area of need since Reed, Miller, and Nwoko will all still have eligibility left. I predict Reed will be off to the NBA after this season but there will still be a lot of SEC experience between Miller and Nwoko

I think McMahon finally gets there with this roster. Might do a roster preview like years prior for people here who haven’t kept up with all the changes.
Yes I believe Funches arrived today.
For Funches it sounds like a Mississippi state and Gonzaga battle with LSU looking in from the outside. We’re not necessarily out of it, but more so still mulling over if we wanna jump in the bidding war. We’ll know a lot more after his LSU visit this week.

I think we’re on Herly Brutus watch. Trilly reported that Brutus really likes LSU but his camp is pushing for the zags. He visited last week I believe and the gonzaga visit will be the last. Trilly said that two of his contacts told him the Gonzaga visit was called off so I guess we’ll find out pretty soon.
Adam O is still up in the air but we’ve done a pretty good job. LSU, Oregon, and Villanova.
Also sounds like we could be heating up for Montverde’s Kevin Thomas.
