Per Trilly, King Gibson announcing Sunday or Monday and LSU seems to be the front runner. Just wrapped up his LSU visit

Appreciate it, didn’t catch that
Yeah I don’t think Santos will be making it over

LSU coach Will Wade says it's been cool seeing a team come together from so many different backgrounds, but has some aspects that have really connected the whole group and brought them all together early in this preseason process.
quote:
Will Wade emphasizes that LSU has a full roster signed and has been operating since the beginning of school as a typical basketball program in terms of full practices and preparation.
quote:
Will Wade asked about the forecast for Louisiana high school recruiting, particularly with a run right now of top basketball prospects having been top football prospects as well. "Well, I can't comment on that right now," Will Wade laughs. Says he does see some good prospects in the coming 2027, 2028, 2029 classes that appear to have basketball as top priority athletically.

“Well we were practicing 2 on 2 for the past few months” Will Wade jokes to begin his press conference. Says he can’t comment further on pending NCAA eligibility situations.
quote:
Wade says LSU may need to work through some stuff when it comes to exhibition games. But by first game, he expects the players to be eligbile.
quote:
Will Wade says Saliou Niang will remind LSU fans about Tari Eason. Says Niang, Brice Dessert and Michael Ruzic all bring something different to the team but most importantly, physicality.
Per Glen West: Niang, Dessert, and Ruzic all have LSU student emails in the database
Yeah pretty weak case for TKR. We'll see what happens
Looks we picked up an Israeli 7 footer. Gilad Levy. Probably an end of the bench piece.

Gonzaga likely the spot but we’re in there
Trilly has confirmed the Skyy Clark contact. He says we’re also trying for Donovan Dent and Donovan Atwell

If tweet fails to load, click here. Referring back to this Rothstein post from the 17th because a name that’s come up a few times for me now is Skyy Clark. He is a part of this California suit.

Also according to Arman: Niang, Dessert, and Ruzic are supposedly in town. No word on Santos yet.
