tigersham, why haven't you updated the list with Michael Ruzic?

Just updated
My bad shoulda made it a little more clear. One feels good he will choose lsu instead of staying in the draft. The other thinks he’s staying in the draft. The first one is closer to the program.

Regardless of anything, if Graves comes back to college, it’s to play for LSU

Assuming we have his eligibility figured out?

So a heads up on that, I was told the staff is operating as if Madar won’t get eligibility. I guess he’s committed if he does get it but not sure what the next steps are. Wasn’t told anything more. I’m sure they have someone lined up.

I also have two conflicting updates on Graves. One feels good it’s LSU and another says he’s going pro.
Per Arman:

It's LSU I heard. Want a guard next to Madar still, plus Madar still needs to get cleared by the NCAA so still pending waiver

First scheduling news to drop. Apparently High Point had around $5 million for their roster this season. Will likely be back in the tourney for a third straight year.

Per Shea, Wade flew into Chicago yesterday for the combine. Not counting out the general until it’s done.

Edit: Also Duke is not in the equation, I promise. They haven’t been for some time now
Should be finished today. Whether they plan to announce it or not is another question I guess.

Sounds like they’re also trying to get Madar over the finish line.
Word is that Dessert is supposed to be signed today. Niang is also committed just can’t be official until his team is done playing due to contract issues.
Purely speculative and not info based but I think Burks is in a waiting situation for a Graves announcement. Wade says he wants to play 7-8 guys so my idea of our lineup looks like:

International PG
Divine
Niang
Graves
Dessert

Guard depth piece
Mo D
Bashir
Santos

Of course depending on who we add, that lineup can be played with and is very flexible for example like bringing Divine off the bench and starting Bashir for more spacing. Mo D also is a huge piece and has ample SEC starting experience so hard to just have him coming off the bench like that. But I don’t see much room for Burks if all those pickups come to fruition. There’s a lot of money tied up into those others guys.
