That's bullshite. You obviously haven't followed basketball recruiting the last couple years. Literally all the top players have agents that make everything public so they can get the highest offer. Being a silent commit would do the complete opposite of that.
Not true at all or you don’t follow transfers. The examples are the number of guys who enter with the no contact tag. If it was all about driving prices up, no one would enter with that tag. It’s the same concept

I haven’t seen an answer to why he wouldn’t announce these silent commitments.
Guy on the main board says they have nearly a full roster of silent commits

Saban was right about catastrophe syndrome

This isn’t catastrophe syndrome, these people want him to fail.

Wow, RJ Luis would be phenomenal!

Wades trying to make it work eligibility wise. We’ll see

How does that work? Was signed by Utah, traded to the Celtics, cut by the Celtics, then signed to the G League Maine Celtics

Not even sure tbh. I guess the argument here would be that he would have still had a year of eligibility left + he’s never played an nba or g-league game. (correct me if I’m wrong)

Yeah, I think his entire pro career has been purely transactional and hasn't actually happened on the court.

He played preseason. Did sign a 2-way contract.

A couple of guys to track are Jaylen Curry and Abdi Bashir. Also, Paul McNeil not announcing a return to NC State today can only be a good sign. Then, Allen Graves.

There was some smoke with Bashir and St. john’s. But I haven’t heard a single thing about Curry since we were linked to him early.

Friend of mine saw Wade at MSY this evening as well. He didn’t recognize the player (he thought it was 2 players/maybe a brother) but when I sent pic of Luis he thought that’s who it was.
That’s gonna be a legal battle. Total insanity to let these guys play college basketball but if it’s legal would be a ridiculously huge add.

I think he was on an exhibit 10 which is basically a preseason contract that sees the player revert to that team’s g-league affiliate once the season begins.
I don’t like that we’re here, but everyone else is doing it so frick it.

Wouldn’t Luis be basically the same situation as Bediako? And both the NCAA and the courts shot it down.

Only difference i can think of is he was on a 2-way contract and was on the Spurs roster for a couple months.
