If you don’t want chaos, then you should have prepared to potentially and hopefully avoid it. SEC and other conferences are just as culpable as the NCAA.

frick Sankey. First he puts football at a competitive disadvantage going to a 9 game conference schedule and saying one of the OOC games has to be a power 4 team, now he’s politicking against one of his own schools. Dude sucks.

Exaclty. They could have instituted a new rule or done something to try and prevent this. It wasn't a secret that LSU was going to try this. They announced RJ Louis a while back.

I think it definitely helps his case that a bunch of football players just entered the transfer portal after signing with the NFL. With that and 5 for 5 this is the best chance he was going to get. A year ago when Bediako was trying to get in he didn't have the benefit of this type of thing going on.

Yea this is a shite show, don't see how they are going to be able to handle the sheer amount of lawsuits coming at them.
They should have just waited to announce the 5 for 5 ruling at the end of the year or something lol.

LSU has 4 players listed with an elgible transfer committed. That’s why I said 5. He is officially in and will be listed as so first day of classes

Sankey made the same comments last year about BAMA trying to get Bediako eligible, so it’s not just a LSU thing.

Sankey is also currently trying to prevent Mark Mitchell from going to Kentucky right now. There’s no anti LSU conspiracy here
