Goodman was applauding a big pickup when Kohler signed with BYU yesterday after playing in summer league but he's bleeding from the vag with every potential LSU move.

Goodman

A hack who believes that CBB should exist of five bluebloods only.

He also has a weird axe to grind with Houston of all programs. Nitpicks them to death despite their major sustained success. They must be too “new money” for him.

With Hall now ineligible, look for Wade to close the deal on Banks.

If Luis gets to play and the international players are all good to go, this team went from will we even have all 5 starters we need to play to pretty dang deep.

The Santos news is one to still sweat out with Luis too obviously

I know others are super confident, but Niang, Dessert, and Santos all made more last season than Charles Bediako ever made. So I would be nervous about all 3 until the NCAA actually clears them.

When do we find out about the big international guys? Some forwards and centers? Looks like we're mostly guards right now.

Niang has been to Baton Rouge but is back in Europe, playing with the Italian national team in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers. The Window 4 round ends on August 31.LSU agreed to him returning to Europe to play as they await an NCAA decision.

It's unclear if Dessert has been to Baton Rouge yet, but he is listed on the Anadolu Efes 26-27 roster. Reportedly, he has agreed to contract terms with the team for the upcoming season if he doesn't get NCAA clearance soon. I haven't seen anything indicating how long the team is willing to wait for his final decision.

Santos is basically radio silence.

Ruzik is in Baton Rouge working out with the team.

How has the NCAA not made a decision on these guys yet?

Or have they and we’re appealing?

A couple of recent articles cited anonymous NCAA sources who pointed to the increase in international players in women's soccer and tennis as a reason for the delay

However, coaches and agents say the NCAA is requesting an unprecedented amount of financial information from incoming internationals. This isn't just an LSU issue; it impacts basically all incoming internationals.

2027 Top 30 SF (6’7,200) Asa Montgomery included LSU in his 8 official visits. List includes Louisville 10/30, Arizona 10/16, Duke 10/2, UNC 9/25, Providence 9/18, UCONN 9/11, Florida 9/4, and LSU 8/28. Duke and LSU are “warm” on 247sports.
