He opted out from Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv and is expected to sign with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

What are the odds these guys get waivers? Dellenger the other day on Mascona’s show made it sound questionable.

Outside of Ruzic, they are all questionable. Simply from the fact that they all made above "actual and necessary expenses" this past season. However, the NCAA has not ruled on any of the current waiver applications under the new rule, so there is no sense of how the NCAA is applying the "actual and necessary expenses" rule. Will it be a very strict application or will it be a more generous appliction?

My understanding is Madar (out), Luis (ha) are the two not likely. Rest should.

How hard is LSU recruiting Kellen Brewer (2027) from Country Day in Metairie? He's a 4 star SG on both ESPN and 247, but his recruitment is unusually quiet. Not a single recruiting site even reports his offers. The only thing I’ve found about his recruitment is a single IG post that claims an offer from UNLV.

According to reports, the Ole Miss Rebels have signed Austrailian guard Ben Henshall, who spent the last three seasons playing professional basketball with Perth Wildcats

Where is the outrage for Ole Miss signing an international player. The horror!

I've pointed out several of these on Reddit's college basketball forum. There are a ton of EU professionals coming to the NCAA. They're not quite as feisty as they were when Wade was first doing it.

The same logic applies to him that applies to all the older international pro players trying to come over:

College classes will start in just over a month at most colleges, and it appears that the NCAA has yet to issue a determination for a pro international under the new guidance.

Reminds me so much of the "tampering" outrage over Demond Williams. Then all of a sudden no one cared about it.

Yam Madar ruled ineligible not totally unexpected the others will
probably clear. Will no longer be coming to play at LSU. Look for Divine to start at the one to begin the year, with Nunez seeing heavy action in non-con play.

If Wade doesn't bring in another talented guard to replace Madar that will start this season is gonna fall flat.

that was expected. hopefully we only lose one more in Luis. If everyone else is cleared we can still be competitive and a tournament quality team.

Last season was such a waste of time. No inroads were able to be made with Spears or similar recruits. They understandably wanted no part of an amateur, Mickey Mouse operation.
