that was expected. hopefully we only lose one more in Luis. If everyone else is cleared we can still be competitive and a tournament quality team.

Edit: Man you're dreaming to think we're tournament quality if we don't get either of those.

Jeez, had to fix that one as I don't think my comment was properly understood first time around. I don't think we get either, but I'm not a sunshine pumper either.

We’re going to have an “ok” PG so next year I expect we’ll be middle of the pack however Wade had to turn over the whole roster. This is his year zero like CMM got…

I think Wade will bring someone in to replace Madar.

I'm pretty sure an injunction was granted today allowing all the current 4 year players a 5th year.

The NCAA had previously ruled that they couldn't play a 5th season.

This should open up dozens of players for Wade to sign.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wade had this in his back pocket the whole time, reasonably assuming they would be granted the 5th year.

Qadir Copeland could still be a possibility depending on if he can get out of a recent 2 way NBA contract he recently signed.

It only applies to Ohio.

Give it a minute. Any ruling made in Ohio sets the precedent for the other 49 states.

Wade prolly talking to players on this list?

List of 26 nba undrafted players. If kids get 1 more year due to new ruling, there’s 15 or so guards on here.

Boopie Miller from SMU on that list.

The one thing I'm POSITIVE of is that Wade has a realistic plan to put a talented group of "dawgs" on the floor that will result in having a good team.

He probably had multiple avenues available in his mind about which way to go depending on new rules enacted, court injunctions, etc...

It'll get even better each year from here with the backing he's getting from our current administration, and as he gets reentrenched in BR.

I'd take MacKinnon or Marquel Sutton back. I'd also call Meechie Johnson, Melvin Council, Boopie Miller, Tramon Mark, Devin Askew, and BJ Edwards up in a heartbeat. PG Tre Hollowman and Wing Quadir Copeland (also at McNeese) are also on the list and played for Wade last year at NC State.

NC State Stats

Copeland was their 2nd leading scorer at 13.9pts, shot 40% from 3, was their leading assist man at 6.5/game, and led the team in steals at 1.8/game. Yessir. You know dang well Wade is already on the phone, plus he followed Wade from McNeese.

I didn't see his name on that list but I remember seeing Jordan Pope from Texas last year entered the portal right before the deadline. If he can get a 5th year that would be a good name to call too.

Last season was such a waste of time. No inroads were able to be made with Spears or similar recruits. They understandably wanted no part of an amateur, Mickey Mouse operation.

The same people who refused to acknowledge inheriting an empty roster with potential draconian sanctions was irrelevant for the prior coach now want to blame that coach for the failure to sign crtain players. What a bunch of fricking hypocrites.

The point is you are a hypocrite. The prior coach inherited an empty roster with draconian sanctions hanging over his head, and without a 20 million dollar war chest as the current coach has.

If you can’t see how the two situations are different, then I cannot help you. I’m sorry.
