Let’s cut the bs. Are we really supposed to believe that Saban, Jimbo, Kelly..etc. don’t have a say in this and aren’t in the loop? How else would these boosters know who and who not to go after?

If they’re involved.

dunno how people dont connect these dot. Yo coach Im needing this. Coach: "I got a guy you can talk to about that"

Good. Save it for someone like Tackett or Derek Williams in 2023

That goes against what all the trusted insiders are saying.

I believe it. As it was ongoing I felt disgusted with the whole thing. If that’s what it takes to get a kid, you can’t help but wonder how much effort you’re gonna get from him. He clearly doesn’t care who he’s playing for. And he’s got his money. Where’s the motivation coming from at that point ?

Even if he’d come here, you’d have to ask the same questions. If it’s literally about who pays a few bucks more then the school means nothing

Hard to imagine that’s the making of a good long term recipe for success as a program

In his heart Jacoby wants to be at LSU. His parents got greedy.

That’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.

Simply identifying targets isn’t exactly stepping in the middle of a bidding war “when the price isn’t worth it”

One on one in the coaches office, same poster on TOS said records indicate 56 days of skipped school at Ponchatoula this year. If true, he’ll have to grow up fast to be successful at A&M.

I think this a great thing. It is good to set a limit and not get in bidding wars.

I’m against bidding wars for high schoolers. They are too high risk, even the 5 stars. A bidding war for a portal player who has proven himself and has a couple of years left seems like a much better bet.

It’s more than “interesting.” If true, he wouldn’t have been on my board at all. That’s not

I said interesting because we don't even know if it's true.

If it is the truth that coupled with the being late for the meeting doesn't bode well.

Its not Kelly's money to spend. Why would he care what a booster spends on NIL? If they want to throw their money at it why would Kelly say no. Unless there is a limited pot of money that must be distributed and Kelly wants to prioritize then maybe...other than that...just tell the booster who you want you let them decide when the bid is too high for their own pockets.

Kelly has to deal with the locker room fallout. Good call by Kelly.
