You could correctly say he is from "NC State (IMG Academy)".
But as you have it stated it reads that he started at NC State and came through IMG Academy on his way to BR.
I've never seen it phrased your way on any college website roster.

I think it's possible that either way could be correct depending on how you interpret it.
I think the bigger issue is that you begin with the preface "not to nitpick" and then proceed to perform an extreme case of nitpicking given that everybody here knows what it means and you're the only one who cares.

Having an username of "clamdip" is not helping your cause. I'm almost scared to ask how much deliberation went into that.

You let Skenes do whatever he wants. Starter, reliever, closer, catcher, DH, whatever he wants and as much as he wants or doesn’t want. These are the conversations he’s having with other schools - what he wants to do and how much he wants to do it.

Do we know if he can catch/hit good enough to do that everyday at LSU?
I know the stats for him look good but it is at Air Force. If he would be that good at it I feel like he would be hitting for team USA too. I might be completely wrong. I truly haven’t seen him play to have an honest opinion on him.

Agree Bay. Main role will be as a pitcher. Spot duty at catcher unless forced into because of injuries

Yes, he can hit well enough and play defensive well enough. His future is as a pitcher, so he uses his summers to focus on that since the national teams are well equipped. I’d think that’s what he wants to do next year, showcase himself as a pitcher against elite comp, but you let him catch or DH if he wants to do that, too…catcher, DH, and corner infield may be crowded but you figure it out.
