I was looking at Paul Skenes.
He can obviously hit but I have a couple of questions if you guys know the answers.
He DH (28) more than he played catcher (18). Is he capable of starting at catcher for LSU, defensively.
I also noticed he was used as a closer. I know that was mostly to use his bat but is he capable of starting as a pitcher?

He worked out of the bullpen for Air Force as a freshman but all of his appearances as a sophomore were starts.

I really don’t think he will be catching for LSU. If he gets here it will be primarily to pitch and to hit as a DH if he doesn’t get beat out by other people.
Think his decision to come to LSU vs anywhere else is if he is willing to do that or not.

Someone linked YouTube channel Thursday but I’ve been watching on MLB.com
